Overview

Linx was incorporated in 1986, with a focus on distribution and warehouse management and systems.

In 1994, Linx implemented a major inventory management and distribution system for Spicers Paper. The system was sourced from the United States, and Linx developed an import/export module which included foreign exchange revaluations based on currency movements.

In 1995 Linx’s current Managing Director, Pas Vizzone, purchased Linx.

Linx commenced consulting to the Toll Holdings group in 1999. Through that relationship, Linx is contracted to provide an outsourced service to Toll for its TollWorks product, which supports 50% of Toll’s Australian revenue. The outsourcing agreement includes Second Level Support, Consulting, Development, Software Releases, and Testing. Linx’s first major development for TollWorks was a pricing and costing systems based on the requirements from a number of business units of Toll.

In 2008, Linx started its Test Automation practice in partnership with HP. Major clients have included ANZ, NAB, Department of Justice, and the Toll Holdings group.

In 2009, Linx acquired the Australian and NZ distribution rights to SoftExpert, an extensive corporate compliance system developed in Brazil.

In 2009, Linx also became the major support services provider for Progress Software.
