09/01/2012: Vale Australia engages Linx to discover and assess the document management capabilities across its coal sites. According to Vale, Linx’s DMNA (Document Management Needs Assessment) methodology demonstrated high compatibility with Vale’s improvement program, and therefore Linx has been chosen as Vale Australia’s business partner to deliver the project.

12/12/2011: Linx develops a new methodology for Document & Records Management assessment. Based on ISO/TR 26122:2008, ISO 15489-1:2001, MIKE2 and AIIM best practices, the new Linx DMNA (Document Management Needs Assessment) methodology will help our clients identify the current state of their Document & Records Management practices. 25/11/2011: SoftExpert Suite 1.3 has been released. It features an enhanced layout, easier and more powerful search capabilities, and the following new modules:

  • SE Form – a form builder for the BPM solution
  • SE Incident – manage incidents within your organisation
  • SE Problem Analysis – allows root cause analysis for IT, quality, health, and security problems
  • SE Storeroom – stock, storeroom, and inventories management, a constant problem in Supply Change Management
  • SE Time Control – an automated system for timesheets, billing control, and resource planning

16/08/2011: Vale Australia, the Australian arm of Vale Worldwide – the world’s second biggest mining company – has signed with Linx to implement our hosted SoftExpert Document Management solution.

14/08/2011: Linx’s running club, The Mercurials (Pas Vizzone, Andrew Boughen, and Dayne May), ran in this year’s City to Surf in Sydney. It’s the first time Pas has run it in over 25 years! They all bettered the time they were aiming for; next is Melbourne’s City to Sea.

18/07/2011: Toll Express has gone live with their SoftExpert implementation. Using Linx’s hosted solution, they have automated many of their administration processes to improve efficiency and visibility. Go to here for more information.

21/04/2011: Victoria’s Department of Justice has engaged Linx’s Testing Automation consultants to lead the automation of its testing suite. It is expected that this will increase the coverage of the tests, while also reducing the time taken to execute the tests.

06/04/2011: Ken Sellers attended the recent SoftExpert Partner Conference in Brazil. Ken not only saw demonstrations on the future direction of SoftExpert, but also cemented our relationship with SoftExpert HQ.

27/09/2010: Linx has begun developing a web-based application to run on the iPad. The advantage for our client is that they can use any browser that supports HTML5, and so they are not locked to one device.

02/09/2010: NAB has decided to use Linx to map a strategy for rolling out HP BPT (Business Process Testing), and show the benefits this direction will bring them for their NextGEN Project.

13/08/2010: Carlos Aggio has joined Linx from SoftExpert in Brazil. Replacing Geovani Miranda, he has extensive experience in implementations and sales, and most recently was the Product and Marketing Manager for ECM and BPM at SoftExpert.

02/03/2010: Dayne and Sarge will take part in this year’s Oxfam Trailwalker Charity Fundraiser. They will try to walk 100km in 24 hours.
